Paul is Head of Fundraising at Naomi House & Jacks Place and has spent almost 20 years working in the Third Sector. During that time he’s worked in international, national, regional and local charities with turnovers ranging from the tens of millions to a few tens of thousands of pounds per annum. Paul’s fundraising experience ranges from the broad ranging activities associated with community fundraising through to major gift and statutory fundraising work. His experience also includes event organising of various shapes and sizes including challenge events and Royal Gala functions.

Jemma has worked in fundraising for over 20 years, for a range of small to medium organisations spanning environmental conservation, young people’s advisory services, dementia support and hospice care. Like most fundraisers who have spent time in small organisations, her experience encompasses many aspects of fundraising including community and events, individual giving, statutory contracts and trusts and foundations.

Since 2015 she has specialised in fundraising for international development, and is currently Head of Philanthropy, Trusts and Foundations at Habitat for Humanity GB, a UK based charity which is part of the global Habitat network. Jemma formerly chaired the national Small International Development Organisations Working Group with BOND, and remains involved in their learning and networking events. She is the Treasurer of the Chartered Institute Central South Committee, and recently graduated with an MA in Philanthropic Studies with the University of Kent. 

Chloe is Head of Fundraising for the Rose Road Association, previous to this she was Head of Development for a national education charity, and managed a number of international campaigns. Chloe comes from a background in economic development, having worked as a fundraising adviser to local authorities in Hampshire. Chloe has advised the devolved government in Ghana, developing economic development strategy for rural local authorities and has sat on steering and technical committees for a number of European funding programmes (RDPE, Interreg and ESF).

Jonathan is a freelance fundraiser, mostly focusing on charitable trusts. Prior to going solo as a freelancer, Jonathan worked for Wetwheels and the Jubilee Sailing Trust.

Sarah is Supporter Engagement Fundraiser for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, a charity that delivers an advanced Critical Care Team to sick and injured people when they need it most. Sarah is relatively new to Fundraising with 2 years’ experience in role. However, Sarah brings a wealth of commercial experience into the fundraising environment from 14 years working within business development and income generation for a large cruise line company.

Michelle began her career as a hospice fundraiser and over the last 20+ years has worked across a diverse range of organisations and in various positions from corporate partnerships, community and events, digital development through to strategic management. She is currently the Head of Fundraising at Marwell Wildlife.

Paul Williams is the Development Manager of Trinity Winchester, a charity supporting homeless and vulnerable people in the city. He recently led a £1.5m capital appeal to build Housing First accommodation on Trinity’s site. Formerly a Director of a grant-making foundation, he understands what foundations want to fund as well as the needs of charities seeking support. He is skilled at designing and delivering effective programmes and measuring and communicating their impact.
