I’m a fundraising and development professional, creative producer and consultant with more than 15 years’ experience across arts and culture, the creative industries and the wider charitable sector.

Across my career, I’ve secured more than £7 million in grant and philanthropic income and contributed to more than £78 million of wider cultural investment. My strongest specialism is trusts and foundations fundraising and grant writing, alongside significant experience in statutory funding, corporate sponsorship and partnerships, individual giving, major donors, capital campaigns, community fundraising and income diversification.

I see development as a creative practice in its own right. My work often begins long before a funding application: helping organisations understand where they are, where they want to go and what needs to change to get there. That might mean consultation, shaping an early idea into a fundable programme, co-designing work with communities and partners, creating new opportunities, strengthening investability, developing sustainable income models or supporting scalable growth.

My approach is collaborative, holistic and relationship-led. I care about impact, stewardship and nurturing partnerships over the long term, and I believe successful development is not simply about securing money, but creating the conditions in which good ideas, organisations and relationships can grow sustainably.

Alongside my consultancy and development work, I’ve produced more than 40 cultural projects and have experience across governance, board development, capital projects and complex partnership-led programmes. I’m a Visiting Lecturer at Goldsmiths, University of London and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a Clore Inclusive Cultures Fellow and a recipient of the British Citizen Award for Services to the Arts.
