Chartered Institute of Fundraising members are invited to hear an exclusive update from Mazeda Alam, Head of Trustee Guidance at the Charity Commission about their work to encourage and enable high standards of governance across the sector. Mazeda will share how their recently updated guidance Charity Fundraising: a guide to trustee duties (CC20) has changed to align with the Charities Act 2022, underlining the key changes that fundraisers and charity leaders should be mindful of amidst a challenging giving landscape. She will outline the Commission's plan to review other guidance so charities are prepared to adapt to evolving best practice.
There will also be time at the end for fundraisers to ask questions about the Commission's work.
