Hosted by our Legacy and In Memory SIG. We're looking forward to bringing the Legacy & In Memory SIG community together again for our next event focussed on new research exploring the impact of fundraising on bereavement. Any fundraiser who has spoken to someone raising money in memory of a loved one will have seen the impact it can have. Anecdotally, we can see that people are motivated by their loss or spurred on by wanting to 'give back'. Marie Curie has recently undertaken research to delve deeper into this, asking the question: 'How does choosing to fundraise in memory impact the bereavement journey?' In this session the research team will explore how fundraising impacted peoples' physical, emotional and social wellbeing.
