The Insight in Fundraising Special Interest Group connects fundraisers and analysts who use data and insight to drive fundraising performance. We offer training, events, and peer networking for professionals working to improve evidence-based fundraising across the UK.

Our group is for anyone within the charity sector who uses or delivers insight as part of their role. You might be in a data analysis or research role, digital analyst or using insight in your job as a fundraiser. The group is run by volunteers who all have those types of roles too and we exist to help support each other.

We are an active group with a varied programme of events. We run a popular annual conference and free webinars. We also showcase great examples of fundraising insight in our awards. We love welcoming new people to our events and are very friendly. Part of our mission is to champion the use of insight for charities of all shapes and sizes.

Our mission is to inspire an insight-led culture within fundraising. We do this by:

  • Providing routes to develop insight skills and knowledge.
  • Creating opportunities for people to meet, discuss, network and learn from each other.
  • Championing the use and accessibility of insight for all charities.

If you’d like to find out more about what we’re doing please sign up for our mailing list. This is the best way to hear about our events as well as Insight related jobs.
