Standard Content

At the best of times, working in fundraising can be demanding with many pressures. However, in times of uncertainty and rapid change, stress levels rise and our ability to cope and bounce back becomes more challenging. It is therefore valuable to learn about the connection between pressure, wellbeing and fulfilling your potential.

This vital course will give fundraisers the tools to thrive at work, no matter how demanding the role and the wider context we’re working within. The course will help fundraisers to build resilience, mitigate stress and increase their well-being, and therefore be even more courageous in their fundraising.

This course is deeply thought-provoking, experiential, and interactive. Course participants will leave with a personalised plan for increasing their resilience and wellbeing.

This course was so helpful in thinking about why we get stressed and how to overcome it. Charly offered a range of techniques and ways of thinking about resilience and wellbeing, and emphasised that you needed to find the most helpful ways for you, rather than being dogmatic. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone in Fundraising, and will be suggesting to our Director that the whole team goes on this course!

Emily Hooke, Major Gifts Officer at Barts Charity
