The Fundraising in Christian Organisations (FICO) Group is a network for fundraisers working in churches and faith-based charities across the UK, providing networking, learning and shared best practice for effective mission-focused fundraising.
It is estimated that there are over 30,000 registered Christian charities in the UK. At FICO, we recognise the special responsibilities, opportunities and challenges facing fundraisers in Christian organisations. Our vision is 'equipping you to thrive in your fundraising ministry'.
Meet the committee
Upcoming events
We host sector experts at our regular lunchtime sessions (usually free). We also run occasional conferences, some online, some in-person, and costs for these are reduced for Chartered Institute members.
Mentoring
We believe in the need to encourage the next generation of fundraisers and run a mentoring scheme, as well some foundation training.
Volunteer with us
We are currently looking for new volunteers to join our committee. If you'd like to support our activities in events fundraising, and gain some valuable experience in the process, please visit the group volunteering page, or get in touch with any questions.
Newsletter
Membership is free and open to all fundraisers working in Christian organisations, charities and places of worship, whether on a paid or voluntary basis. We have no denominational affiliations. To receive our newsletter, you need to create a free Chartered Institute account. Then head over to your account and select Fundraisers in Christian Organisations from the groups section. We also encourage you to join the Chartered Institute of Fundraising as a full member.

Our active social media groups on LinkedIn and Facebook give all Christian fundraisers the chance to share ideas, resources, ask questions and to network. We offer advice through our public LinkedIn page and Facebook page. You can also request to join the FICO LinkedIn group.
