This course will help you to develop the relevant knowledge, skills, techniques and confidence to audit, re-calibrate and design inclusive communications for your fundraising. This course will also cover best practice approaches for inclusive charity communications.

About your trainer

Dr Haseeb Shabbir

Haseeb’s research on inclusive imagery and ethical communications has been published in leading academic journals including the Journal of Advertising, Journal of Advertising Research, Journal of Macro Marketing, Journal of Business Ethics and he sits on the editorial boards of the Journal of Philanthropy & Marketing and the Journal of Non-

Profit and Public Sector Marketing. Dr Shabbir’s 2014 review of racial imagery in contemporary British ads was one of the largest such reviews at the time and he has since spoken at numerous not for profit and corporate marketing platforms on inclusive communications.

Haseeb has also been a diversity officer throughout most of his academic career and has served on a number of campus-wide EDI committees.

Haseeb manages the world’s only MSc in Charity Marketing and Fundraising at the Charity Effectiveness Centre at Bayes Business School. He has served as a member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising’s Senior Academy team for the past ten years and has been co-responsible for the design and delivery of the Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma qualifications.
