Delivered in partnership with Carla Miller Training, the Influence and Impact for Women in Leadership programme, is aimed at senior women in fundraising leadership roles, already operating at Head of Team or Director level.

Sessions and commitment

The programme is made up of six group coaching sessions and two peer coaching calls. Participants need to attend every session virtually.

Session 1: Increasing your confidence

Get to know the rest of your cohort, learn how to turn down the volume on your Inner Critic and turn into your Inner Leader, the calm, confident part of you.

Session 2: Personal Leadership Brand

Get international about how other perceive you by creating a personal leadership brand that is authentic to you and based on your strengths and values.

Session 3: Influencing hotseats

Share and learn from each other’s influencing challenges and receive coaching to help you influence your executive team, and Trustees.

Session 4: Tackling imposter feelings and self-doubt

Understand what is causing you to doubt yourself using, reframe some unhelpful stories that are holding you back and learn the strategies you need to be able to believe in yourself more.  We also discuss how gender bias causes us to doubt ourselves and creates barriers in the workplace which men don’t face.

Session 5: Increasing your impact in meetings

Discover how to increase your gravitas in meetings, communicate more powerfully and deal with tricky situations like being put on the spot and being interrupted.

Session 6: Communicating with senior stakeholders

Learn how to speak the language of senior stakeholders, manage multiple stakeholders effectively and how to influence upwards and sideways.
