We are delighted to announce that nominations are now open for the 2025 Chartered Institute Yorkshire Fundraising Awards!

These awards celebrate and recognise the outstanding contributions of fundraisers from across the region and will be presented at the end of the Chartered Institute Yorkshire Conference in February.

The deadline for submitting nominations is 23:59 on Friday 24 January.

Fundraiser of the year

This award is all about celebrating a fundraiser who’s shown real excellence in fundraising and has been a shining example of their fundraising profession in the past year.

The judges will be looking for some evidence of some/ one of the following areas:

Fundraising newcomer

This award is all about recognising a fundraising star from the region who has been in a fundraising role for less than 2 years but has shown incredible potential as they have entered their career journey.

The entry should explain how the nominees have made a difference to the organisation they work for. Judges will be looking for examples such as:

Fundraising Campaign of the Year

This award celebrates an outstanding fundraising campaign in the region that deserves to be recognised as the best of the year. The campaign must have taken place in whole or part between 1 January 2024 and December 2024.

The judges will be open to a variety of submissions, including multi-channel or discipline-specific campaigns. Whether it’s individual giving, legacy, digital, or a campaign tailored to a specific audience, we’re looking for campaigns that demonstrate excellence, creativity, innovation, and a real connection between supporters and beneficiaries.

Fundraising Leader of the Year

This award recognises an outstanding fundraising leader who has shown exceptional leadership, vision, and impact in driving fundraising success. The winner will be someone who has made a significant difference through their strategic direction, team development, and innovative approaches to fundraising.

The Fundraising Leader of the Year could be a Fundraising Manager, Head of Fundraising, Director, or anyone in a leadership role who has shown true dedication to inspiring their team and achieving remarkable results.

Fundraising Team of the Year

For a team of fundraisers who, in the view of their peers, have demonstrated exceptional teamwork, innovation, and impact in delivering outstanding fundraising results for their charity.

Entries may be submitted by team members, colleagues, or external supporters.

The entry should explain the context and background to the team and will include some or all of the following information.
