The Chartered Institute of Fundraising Northern Ireland Awards, in association with Hays Recruitment are back for 2024. Hosted by TV’s Pamela Ballantine, the awards will take place on Thursday 6 June at the exquisite Titanic Hotel, Belfast.

 

The Northern Ireland Awards an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the incredible work of local fundraisers, volunteers and businesses who make a huge difference to the lives of people living in Northern Ireland. Nominations must only be based on the financial year 2023/24.

Nominatons are now closed.

Please note: Only one nomination is allowed for each category, per organisation.

Applications for the Northern Ireland Awards will be accessed by the judging panel which is made up of members of the Chartered Institute Northern Ireland committee members and third parties invited by the Chartered Institute Norther Ireland committee. 

The judging panel will use the information you provide to process your application and come to agreement about the outcome. 

Information from your application will also be used during the event and post event for promotional purposes and may appear on our website and social media posts. 

Application forms will be kept until 31 June 2024 after which they will be securely destroyed.

Fundraising Event of the Year

For this Award the judges are looking for: creativity & innovation, organisational impact, financial return, sponsorship, volunteer opportunities and awareness raised. 

Fundraising Partnership of the Year

For this Award the judges are looking for: organisational impact (for both partners), financial return, the length of partnership, staff participation, volunteer engagement, awareness raised and shared learning.

Fundraising Team of the Year

For this Award the judges are looking for: organisational impact, team resilience, creativity, team spirit & support for each other, cross departmental working and achieving targets.

Volunteer of the Year (Individual - including young volunteer)

For this Award the judges are looking for: organisational impact, time given, motivation, creativity and financial & non-financial impact.

Volunteer of the Year (Group/Team)

For this Award the judges are looking for: organisational impact, time given, motivation, creativity and financial & non-financial impact.

Fundraising Leader of the Year

For this Award the judges are looking for: an individual who has shown inspirational leadership and mentorship qualities with their team, who has made a significant impact with creativity and innovation and always goes above and beyond.  

Fundraiser to Watch (Under 30 )

For this Award the judges are looking for: an individual who has made a significant impact in the beginning of their career, who has shown creativity and innovation. 

Campaign of the Year

For this Award the judges are looking for: what impact the campaign had, either financial or non-financial, use of creativity & innovation and organisational impact. 

Special Recognition Award

This is the first year of this exceptional award. It will celebrate the unique and invaluable contribution of an individual or group/team (human and non-human) to support others in a time of need. This is a great opportunity for your charity to recognise a special dedication to your cause.

The judges are looking for: someone who has dedicated a significant amount of time/resource/expertise to support others, either within Northern Ireland or globally.  What impact have they had for your organisation/ globally – financially, non-financial or other.
