Ben is the Senior Manager, Prospect & Portfolio Management for the Aga Khan University. Prior to this role, he held fundraising intelligence and insight roles at Cancer Research UK and at Age UK, and has worked in prospect research since 2010. Before this, he worked in development operations, front-line fundraising and policy for UK and international NGOs including Human Rights Watch, Homeless Link, Birkbeck University and International Crisis Group. He has presented well-reviewed sessions at major Chartered Institute and CASE conferences, and blogs on prospect research and philanthropy.

Dr Martyn Colebrook is Prospect Research Manager for Cancer Research UK. He joined in 2019 and has responsibility for the operational management of the Major Philanthropy Prospect Research function. In 2018 Martyn founded the Prospect Research and Data Forum: an information exchange event for fundraisers. His interest in fundraising was piqued following a temporary role as a Research Assistant in the University of Hull's Development and Alumni Relations Department.

Caroline has worked in the not-for-profit sector for 14 years. She began her career at Action Planning, a fundraising and strategy consultancy where she spent several years working in marketing and events before joining the Prospect Research team. She later joined Childhood First, a charity providing residential care, education and treatment to children and young people affected by abuse, neglect and deprivation, as Research and Development Manager. Caroline has spent the last five years as Head of Prospect Research at the Institute of Cancer Research.

Dominic is Prospect Research Officer at King’s College London. He has experience working on a range of capital campaigns, alumni activities and donor relations research having previously worked at The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, Natural History Museum and Cardiff Metropolitan University. Prior to working in fundraising, he was a music teacher and a credit analyst for a financial institution.

Jordan is a Prospect Researcher at the Multiple Sclerosis Society, joining the organisation in August 2019. His first taste of prospect research was during an internship at the British Red Cross in Worcester, where he did research into local trusts while a Community Fundraising Intern. After joining Save the Children as a Community Fundraising Assistant in 2017 and researching local businesses, he became a Prospect Development Officer in February 2019.

Sofia-Chezene completed a master's degree in fundraising, cultural philanthropy, and advancement in the hopes of being able to be of assistance to those who are striving to make a difference. She has hosted events internationally, nationally, and locally, bringing the community, business, governments, and individuals together to create a better world.

Nan is a polyglot investigator and the founder and Managing Director of Astra Diligence, an Oxford-based specialist due diligence consultancy focusing on East Asia and Scandinavia. The company provides enhanced due diligence, strategic intelligence, and risk analysis services to clients in the financial, legal, corporate, and higher education sectors. Nan also serves as a consultant for several UK business intelligence and litigation support firms that are highly ranked by Chambers and Partners. Previously, Nan was Prospect Research Officer (China Specialist) at the University of Oxford where she led on multilingual due diligence projects on individuals and entities from East Asia.

Efe is Prospect Research Manager at Moorfields Eye Charity where she works across Major Gifts, Trusts and Foundations, and Corporate Relations. Prior to this, she worked in prospect development for Florida International University in Miami and in commercial due diligence services for the institutional investment community.

Heather is Development Services Manager at Cheltenham Ladies' College (CLC). Previously she has worked as an all rounder Development Professional and Consultant both in the UK and Seattle, WA USA. At CLC she has implemented and manages a fully functional pipeline management system and completes extensive worldwide prospect research for both individuals and corporates.

Brett is the Prospect Research and Stewardship Officer at the University of Westminster, joining the organisation in late 2019. He has served multiple world-renowned institutions in the Higher Education and Cultural sectors, including London School of Economics, The Open University, the University of Otago in New Zealand and the Natural History Museum. He is responsible for Westminster’s annual flagship fundraising event, and leads on the content and copywriting for their upcoming capital campaign.

Chris is Prospect Researcher at Birkbeck College, University of London. Prior to joining Birkbeck in November 2017 he was the Prospect Research Manager at the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, working on the College’s campaign to restore the 17 th Century Painted Hall. He has worked in prospect research since 2011 and has held roles at the London School of Economics and at London Business School. He is a CASE Graduate Trainee in Educational Fundraising, having undertaken his traineeship at the University of Leeds. Outside of work, he is a Chair of campaigning group Greenwich for Europe.

Lubna is Senior Development Officer at The Scar Free Foundation. Before this, she enjoyed fundraising and research communication roles with the Organic Research Centre, Life Education and Parkinson’s UK. Lubna loves science and is passionate about building meaningful, lifelong relationships with supporters. She has a PhD in Genetics and Certificate in Fundraising from the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.
