  • Sally Insley

Like most, Sally fell into fundraising over ten years ago whilst working for a local hospice. With a passion for people, Sally is now employed as Head of Fundraising at Overcoming MS and is a trustee
for Tiny Tickers. Sally joined the West Midlands committee in 2015 where she leads on our monthly Second Thursday events programme, providing local fundraisers with the opportunity to come together to network and inspire one another.

  • Sallie Brettle

Sallie started her fundraising career when she joined the Barnardo’s Gifts in Wills team as a marketing executive in 2012 having decided she wanted to help create some positive changes to the World. Sallie then spent 6 years at Emmaus UK as the Corporate Partnerships Manager before recently joining Young Lives vs Cancer as their New Business Partnerships Lead. Sallie joined the committee in September 2016 and has predominately focused on communications, including Eventbrite.

    Jit Pundal

I have been a proud member of the Chartered Institute West Midlands committee since July 2018. I am a committed Midlands fundraiser and “Brummie”, an active member of the community. I run events as a volunteer for Diabetes UK in Birmingham and the Black Country, and I am on the Advisory Group for Diabetes - Birmingham & Solihull CCG. I focus on working with small charities and community groups across the West Midlands and at a national level. I lead on equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives for Chartered Institute of Fundraising West Midlands, engaging the BAME community to access the many benefits we have to offer.

  • Paula Dower

Paula has worked in the charity sector since 2000,  in June 2024 she became Head of Fundraising and Partnerships at the Rape and Sexual Violence Project (RSVP) in Birmingham. Paula joined the West Midlands committee as Treasurer in May 2021. In 2023 Paula graduated as a Master of Business Administration, with Distinction and became a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.

  • Olly De Croz

Olly has been in fundraising since 2009 (after starting out in journalism and then PR), spending most of the next decade as Communications and Fundraising Manager for the Church Pastoral Aid Society. In 2019 he took a similar role with a very different type of charity, now working for the International Nepal Fellowship as Marketing and Communications Manager. He joined the West Midlands committee in 2022 and helps with the group’s communications.

    Biography to come
  • Fi Harrison

Fi is Head of Fundraising & Communications at Birmingham Dogs Home where she loves combining her passion for both fundraising and animal welfare at this well loved Midlands charity. Fi has worked in various management roles in the charity sector over the years including Save the Children, Turning Point, St John Ambulance and the NSPCC as well as working as a fundraising consultant focussing on strategic income generation planning for a range of smaller charities. Fi volunteers for the Scouts Association and the Association of Dogs and Cats Homes when not fundraising or walking her dogs.

  • Kate Vousden

After taking on a maternity-cover at a small Birmingham-based charity in 2018, Kate fell in love with the fundraising and working with people to impact the local community. Since then, she has worked as part of the Community and Events team at Acorns Children's Hospice, and recently completed the Chartered Institute of Fundraising's Diploma in Fundraising. Kate joined the committee in January 2023 to share her passion for the sector with others and will mostly likely be the person in touch if you drop us an email!

  • Charley Burke

Charley worked in not for profits in a marketing capacity from the start of her career, and fell into fundraising through her love of building relationships with supporters. Since August 2019 she has been the Worcestershire Fundraising Executive for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, working with local communities to raise funds and increase awareness of the vital service. After completing the Diploma in Fundraising in March 2022, she joined the West Midlands committee as she wanted to work more closely with those in the sector and help others to engage with the Chartered Institute.
