Having worked mostly as a sole fundraiser for the past 20 years for a vast array of charities from the Arts to the aged, Kevin decided to take the leap of faith and became a freelance consultant in April 2021. Kevin now works with several mainly small charity clients, but also some national organisations, providing strategic and practical support with all areas of fundraising often focusing on writing and submitting grant applications and creating workable fundraising strategies. Kevin is also a grants assessor, a Board member of a small grantmaker in Edinburgh, a mentor for fledgling fundraisers and a donor (one-off, regular and legacy) for a number of charities so see the fundraising discipline from all angles.
