The Scottish Trusts group supports fundraisers working with trusts, statutory bodies and foundations, providing events, guidance and networking to strengthen trust fundraising across Scotland.

Our group welcomes everyone from sole fundraisers, to Trust specialists from larger departments. The charities represented range from small to Scotland-wide organisations and Scottish branches of UK bodies. The causes too are wide-ranging, from health and disability, to education, arts and the environment.

We meet quarterly, and our events typically feature presentations from funding representatives of both small and large trusts, as well as statutory bodies, from Scotland and occasionally south of the border. As our meetings are popular, we sometimes have to cap number and have introduced a policy of limiting attendance to one person per organisation. Please be respectful of this, and arrange with colleagues for one of you to come along and then share the information. We usually arrange for a speaker's slides to be sent round by email after the event.

Grant writing can often be a lonely business and attendees have told us they appreciate the opportunity for informal networking, sharing issues and celebrating successes with other fundraisers.
