  • Bronwyn O’Riordan

Bronwyn has worked in the third sector for over 20 years from social firms, managing charity retail, leading fundraising teams and being a CEO. She has also been part of the leadership team at a Third Sector Interface.

A proud fundraiser, busy mother and carer, Bronwyn’s favourite down time activities are catching up with friends and family over quality veggie food or being outdoors with her sighthounds.

Bronwyn isn’t particularly fond of early mornings and is very much pro hibernation!

Bronwyn is also the Chair of Chairs for Scotland, supporting the Chartered Institute of Fundraising and Chairing across the Scottish committees.

  • Mairead MacLeod

Mairead has been in fundraising for 9 years. She came into the sector through Volunteering and then realised fundraising was a job! She has previously worked in a variety of Community Fundraising and Events roles and is currently the Regional Relationships Manager for Scotland at Blood Cancer UK.

  • Ashley Taylor

Ashley has worked in the charity sector for four years. Her charity career started in supporter care where she developed a love for community events and engaging with people. She has now moved over to a main focus in corporate fundraising where she can bring the skills that she has developed in previous years as a conference organiser.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her young children and escaping when she can to do a yoga class!

  • Kali Thompson

Kali is new to the fundraising sector and has become a community and events fundraiser. She started out in the third sector as a community support worker and upon moving to Scotland became a dementia care practitioner. After spending some time working in academia as a research assistant, she moved into fundraising as a way of combining the research skills she developed with her love for social care and engaging with people and communities.

Outside of work, she enjoys going to rugby games and is a new dog mom so spends a lot of her time as activity co-ordinator for her wee sausage dog.

  • David Loumgair

David has worked in a diverse range of fundraising roles for over a decade. He founded a charitable organisation which was steadily grown into a national entity. After some time working with established organisations to strategically grow their community engagement, event portfolios and income generation, David joined the third sector and now works with SAMH (Scottish Action for Mental Health) as their North Fundraising Lead.

David loves nothing more than a good restoration project, is often found at the cinema, and can be easily tempted by chocolate biscuits.

  • Lexy Graham

Lexy has grown up doing fundraising throughout school and university, organising a wide range of fundraising events including gala dinners, markets, afternoon teas and more. She's even done a few treks herself! She started out studying medicine at university, before then gaining an honours degree in Events Management in 2024. She has recently started her first professional fundraising role as an Events and Community Fundraising Officer at Worldwide Cancer Research. Her science background, and love for events and fundraising, mean she is loving her new role at WCR and is passionate about engaging with their supporters and getting them involved in amazing events. In her spare time, you can find Lexy cooking a nice meal, doing some yoga or pilates, or taking out her cockapoo, Poppy, on a hiking or paddleboarding adventure.

  • Eve Meadows

Eve recently completed her Psychology degree and discovered a passion for fundraising while volunteering for a local Dundee charity. She loved connecting with the community and found great satisfaction in organising multiple successful fundraising events. This experience solidified her commitment to helping people and making a tangible, positive impact.

Now, she brings that same dedication to her new role as a Community Fundraising Officer (North) for Scottish Huntington’s Association, an organisation she is excited to be a part of and proud to represent.
