  • Lexy Graham

Lexy grew up fundraising throughout school and university, organising a wide range of fundraising events including gala dinners, markets, afternoon teas and more, even taking part in a few challenge events herself! She started out studying medicine at university, but after discovering her love for events, went on to graduate with a first class honours degree in Events Management in 2024 at RGU. She joined Worldwide Cancer Research in January 2025 as the Events and Community Fundraising Officer, and joined the Scottish Community and Events SIG (and Scottish Fundraising Conference Committee) in March 2025. She thoroughly enjoys her role as it combines her science background, love for fundraising and all things events into one fabulous job. Lexy is stepping up to Chair from February 2026, as well as being the new EDI Champion. In her spare time, you can find Lexy surfing, doing yoga and pilates, cooking, or out and about on the hills or on a paddleboard with her cockapoo, Poppy.

  • Mairead MacLeod

Mairead has been in fundraising for 9 years. She came into the sector through Volunteering and then realised fundraising was a job! She has previously worked in a variety of Community Fundraising and Events roles and is currently the Regional Relationships Manager for Scotland at Blood Cancer UK.

  • Kali Thompson

Kali is new to the fundraising sector and has become a community and events fundraiser. She started out in the third sector as a community support worker and upon moving to Scotland became a dementia care practitioner. After spending some time working in academia as a research assistant, she moved into fundraising as a way of combining the research skills she developed with her love for social care and engaging with people and communities.

Outside of work, she enjoys going to rugby games and is a new dog mom so spends a lot of her time as activity co-ordinator for her wee sausage dog.

  • David Loumgair

David has worked in a diverse range of fundraising roles for over a decade. He founded a charitable organisation which was steadily grown into a national entity. After some time working with established organisations to strategically grow their community engagement, event portfolios and income generation, David joined the third sector and now works with SAMH (Scottish Action for Mental Health) as their North Fundraising Lead.

David loves nothing more than a good restoration project, is often found at the cinema, and can be easily tempted by chocolate biscuits.

  • Eve Meadows

Eve first discovered her passion for fundraising while volunteering at a Dundee-based charity during her Psychology degree. She loved connecting with the local community and found great satisfaction in organising multiple successful fundraising events. After building further experience as a volunteer fundraiser with Aberdeen-based charity MISS, Eve transitioned into her professional career. She is now a proud Community Fundraising Officer (North) at Scottish Huntington’s Association, an organisation she loves being a part of and representing.

Outside of work, Eve stays active through water polo, hillwalking, and yoga or pilates. She also enjoys a board game night and cooking tasty meals for others.

  • Angela Allison

Angela is the Senior Supporter Care Executive at Worldwide Cancer Research, an Edinburgh-based charity that funds discover cancer research all over the world. She has worked in the charity sector for seven years in a Supporter Care and Fundraising role. Before moving into the third sector, she spent eight years working in hospitality overseas in France and Greece. Wanting to make a difference and contribute to meaningful causes, Angela transitioned into the charity sector where she now supports supporters and fundraising activity with care and dedication. Outside of work, Angela is a big football fan and a busy parent to three energetic children, who certainly keep life lively and full of fun.
