    Mervi Slade is a Product & Programme Manager for Payroll Giving at Cancer Research UK. She has been working in Payroll Giving in various roles from a Professional Fundraising Organisation to Payroll Giving Agency. She has also worked at Save the Children as their Payroll Giving Manager and before her role at Cancer Research UK worked as a consultant helping charities in Payroll Giving.

    In 2018 she was awarded Outstanding Contribution to Payroll Giving award at the National Payroll Giving Excellence Awards.

  • Carys Robshaw

    Carys is Corporate Partnerships Manager at WaterAid. After receiving a MSc in International Development from London Southbank University, Carys has worked in fundraising and corporate partnerships since 2016 at a range of UK charities with an international development focus. She has worked on WaterAid’s payroll giving programme since 2021 and is passionate about growing and developing payroll giving across the sector.

    Caroline Gaskin is the Development Manager for Together for Animals – a consortium charity who in an average year receives 90% of their income through Payroll Giving. As the sole employee of Together for Animals, Caroline leads on the day-to-day operations and growth of the charity. 

  • Xavier Phoenix

    Xavier is a Corporate Partnerships Manager at WaterAid. After receiving a distinction in Conflict, Security and Development from King’s College London, Xavier has worked in shared value partnerships between the not-for-profit and private sector for the past four years, and believes in the power of payroll giving to bring transformational change to the biggest issues facing the world today.
