The awards are designed to highlight best practice and celebrate insightful analytics in the Charity Sector. Whether delivering strategy changing insights from tight budgets and resources, or revealing new nuggets from cutting edge technology, we want to hear about the work you do and the impact it has.

Nominations are now closed. The winners will be announced at the Insight in Fundraising Awards 2026 taking place on Thursday 23 April 2026 at Shakespeare’s Globe Underglobe in London.

Most powerful insight using data analysis

For this Award, we’re looking for work that demonstrates best practice in the use of data analysis.

Most powerful insight using Research

For this Award entries should demonstrate outstanding use of market or supporter intelligence derived from research (either qualitative and/or quantitative), in the development of a fundraising strategy or in informing successful fundraising execution.

Most Powerful Insight Using Visualisation or Dashboarding

For this Award the judges are looking for examples of great visualisation and presentation of data either with in a single report or a wider reporting environment.

Most powerful insight using AI / ML

For this Award entries must include outstanding use of Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning techniques to deliver fresh insight or improved effectiveness of delivery of existing processes

Most innovative use of data or analysis to drive insight

For this Award the judges are looking for work that demonstrates best practice in the use of data analysis.

Most powerful demonstration of insight using a variety of methods

For this Award the focus is on the ability of insight to deliver long term strategic impact. The judges want to recognise those projects that have contributed significantly to a fundraising organisation strategy using a variety of methods over a period of time or range of activity.

Most powerful use of insight to improve supporter experience

This Award recognises outstanding use of insight to improve the supporter experience in a fundraising organisation.

Charity Team of the year

This Award is for a team of highly motivated and professional individuals who have worked well in strong collaboration to deliver a highly regarded insight and analytics programme in their organisation.

Agency of the year

This Award is for a marketing service provider or agency that helps the charity achieve exceptional results, time after time; known for adding value and display a combination of consistently delivering on their service promise whilst pioneering solutions that are creative and cost-effective.

Partner of the year

An individual consultant or small partnership who consistently helps fundraising organisations achieve exceptional results through best use of insight and data. 

Rising Star

This is a special Award for an outstanding individual in the early stages of their career. This person could be highly professional, an inspiration to others, committed to getting things done, able to effectively communicate complex analysis, willing to go that extra mile, or simply being a fantastic support or team player. 

Data Hero

This Award recognises a champion of data whose contribution is essential but not always publicly acknowledged.
