    Andrew has been a leader and advocate for the social and philanthropic sectors for more than 25 years. His current role, as Senior Principal at a health care philanthropy consulting firm, Accordant Philanthropy, enables him to continue to contribute thought leadership in the field.


    Previously, he was President & CEO of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and Deputy Chief Executive at the Institute of Fundraising.

  • Louise Cook

    Louise is Head of Fundraising & Marketing at Longfield Community Hospice in Gloucestershire. Louise has over 20 years of experience in the sector working with a range of organisations. She holds an MBA from Imperial College, London and recently completed her International Advanced Diploma in Fundraising at the Chartered Institute.

    Theresa Dauncey works at the National Brain Appeal.

  • Rachel Jones

    Rachel is responsible for leading Moorfields Eye Charity’s fundraising activities, notably its £100m campaign, in partnership with UCL, to raise funds to support the creation of a centre for advancing eye health. She has over 20 years’ experience in developing and implementing successful fundraising campaigns and strategies. Prior to Moorfields Eye Charity, she was Head of Development at LSE.  Rachel is also a Trustee of Willow Foundation. 

  • Emma Carter

    Emma is the Charity Development Manager at Air Ambulances UK, the officially national charity of the air ambulance community. Previous to this Emma was the Head of Fundraising and Marketing at Great Western Air Ambulance Charity for four years and is also a Trustee of a young person’s mental health charity in Bristol – Off the Record.

    Emma joined the committee because of the gap in networking opportunities for peers in the healthcare sector.

  • Neil Harman

    Neil is Director of Fundraising at Thames Valley Air Ambulance, having previously worked for the National Trust, Prospect Hospice and Thames Hospice over the last 15 years. He is passionate about an ‘audience first’ approach when fundraising and relishes the opportunity to connect fundraisers across their specialist healthcare causes, to both explore opportunities to collaborate and champion excellent fundraising.

  • Dr Lubna Arif-Schmidt

    Lubna is Head of Development at The Scar Free Foundation. Before this, she enjoyed fundraising and science communication roles with  the Royal Institution, Organic Research Centre, Coram Life Education and Parkinson’s UK. Lubna loves science and is passionate about building meaningful, lifelong relationships with supporters. She has a PhD in Genetics and a Diploma in Fundraising from the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.
