  • Sophie Randles-Dunkley

    Sophie has well over 20 years' experience leading and delivering events fundraising programmes at major charity brands including Macmillan, Marie Curie, Centrepoint, and Cancer Research UK.  Now working as a freelance public fundraising consultant, she is principle consultant at Raising Agents where she works with charities across the UK to make their fundraising as awesome as it can be.

  • Kate McMahon

    Kate is an experienced fundraiser and events manager, with over 15 years in the charity sector, having worked across regional and national organisations to design and deliver bespoke, special, third-party and virtual event programmes. She currently leads the Engagement Events Team at Prostate Cancer UK and is Co-Chair of this wonderful Events Fundraising group. Outside of charity life, she loves hanging out with her two dogs Arlo & Otis, belting out 80s rock power ballads (out of key), or getting lost in the trashiest of trashy books.

  • Annabelle Feetenby

    Annabelle has 8 years of experience in the charity sector working in a variety of charities and roles, including BHF, NHS Charities Together and WWF, where she has worked in Supporter Care, Community Fundraising, Mass Participation, Third Party (Sports) and Bespoke Events. Annabelle is the co-comms lead in the committee and has just moved into a new role at the University of Warwick, leading on Philanthropy Events. Outside of work, Annabelle has a 3 year old chocolate labrador who she enjoys going walking with.

  • Charlotte Byrne

    Charlotte works as an Events Fundraising Manager at Samaritans and is the Deputy Chair and Treasurer of the UK CIOF Special Interest Group for Events. Charlotte has previously worked in Events and Community Fundraising roles at charities including Alzheimer’s Society, Independent Age, and Terrence Higgins Trust. Outside of work, she loves going to concerts and enjoys trips to the West End to see the latest theatre shows.

  • Tom Langdown

    Tom has close to 20 years’ experience working on mass participation charity programmes, ranging from London Marathon Events to British Heart Foundation's London to Brighton Bike Ride. He is currently a Global Charity Consultant and contracted for England Athletics (National Governing Body). He's been a committee member of the CIOF Event Fundraising group for over 2 years now. This year, Tom aims to become a Six Star Finisher in the Abbotts World Marathon Majors.

  • Lucy Cornell

    Lucy is a Community & Events Fundraising Executive at St John’s Hospice in London and part of the Comms team for the CIOF Events Special Interest Group. Within the group, she helps create and schedule emails for our virtual and in-person events and reporting on the emails. At the hospice, Lucy looks after everything from challenge events and community fundraisers to special events – that includes coordinating Easter bunny hunts to organising major donor galas and everything in between. Before joining the charity sector, she worked as a wedding and event planner and has also held a role at Children with Cancer UK. Outside of work, Lucy is a big foodie who loves trying new restaurants and enjoys getting out for a run.

  • Nick Pietruszewski

     Nick is an experienced mass participation and bespoke events specialist, having delivered large scale fundraising events across national charities. His background spans flagship cycling and endurance events, third party partnerships and complex multi stakeholder delivery. He has led high profile events at the Royal British Legion and currently looks after the bespoke events function at the Army Benevolent Fund. Nick is the comms lead for the CIOF Events Fundraising committee. Outside of work, he is usually on the hunt for good coffee, cycling or hanging out with his Lakeland Terrier, Frank.

  • James Davies

    James is an experienced charity leader, heading up Challenge Events for Young Epilepsy. His previous experience covers a commercial career and time spent at charities as diverse as the Royal Foundation, Marie Curie and Walking With The Wounded. He is a big fan of the outdoors and has undertaken and managed different expeditions and events across the world, being an expert in event logistics and management.

Kat's worked across many third party and charity owned events including overseas challenges and loves focusing on building supporter-led relationships. Outside of work she enjoys going away on holiday or day trips with a recent love of campervan holidays and walking her golden retriever Daisy!
