Benchmarking Fundraising in 2025: What the Latest Survey Reveals
The UK fundraising landscape continues to shift rapidly, with charities under mounting pressure to deliver more impact in increasingly challenging conditions. Against this backdrop, reliable benchmarking is invaluable – helping fundraising leaders understand where they stand, how their investment compares, and where opportunities for growth lie.
AAW’s second annual Fundraising Benchmarking Survey, run in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, provides one of the largest recent snapshots of sector performance. With 53 charities taking part – representing a combined voluntary income of £1.8 billion, or about 7% of the UK total – the 2025 survey offers important insights into where fundraising is heading.
