This is a course designed specifically for professional charity fundraisers who are responsible for creating a strategy and plan in major gift fundraising or who wants to prepare for a role where this will be part of the job. Growing major gift fundraising success is as much about individual relationships as it is watching the indicators of success in your organisation and making great decisions about where to invest your resources. If you want to understand what a healthy planning process looks like and what insight you need to gather to make great strategic decisions in your organisation then this is the course for you. Your trainer will take you through how to map where you are starting from and how to position where you want to be. You will be introduced to tried and tested concepts and cutting edge ideas that successful teams are currently using to measure the quality of their relationships. Importantly, this will also help you to assess how ready your organisation is to respond to your current and prospective supporters’ needs. You will also explore all of the options you have ahead of you, get tools to help you decide where to allocate your resources and how to make decisions that are right for you and your organisation. By the end of this two day course you will leave inspired and with a clear roadmap for how to create your strategy and plan in major gift fundraising.
