The Connection Hub
Situated in the Expo area, come and join our Membership, Volunteering and Professional Development teams to find out more about the benefits of being part of the Chartered Institute, the personal value from becoming a volunteer, and opportunities for continuing professional development.
Support a Local Westminster Charity
On Monday, 3 July only, bring non-perishable dry or canned food items to support people in need during this cost-of-living crisis. The recipient of this community action is local Westminster-based foodbank The Abbey Centre.
We will be acccepting donations from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm on Monday in the Cambridge Room, 5/F.
Donations – in kind
- Tinned / boxed food (It was explained that recipients often don’t have great cooking skills so simple food that can be warmed in a microwave and are ready to eat would be best eg soup, baked beans, canned meats and seafood, baby food (not formula), canned vegetables, canned fruit in juice, fruit juice from concentrate, canned rice pudding, long-life semi skimmed milk, pasta sauce)
- Dried food such as pasta, tea bags, healthy cereals, rice
- Personal hygiene products such as toilet paper, sanitary products, toothpaste, deodorant, nappies, baby whites, bars of soap (rather than shower gel, as they like to minimise packaging)
- Cleaning products such as multi-purpose cleaning sprays, laundry detergents, washing up liquid
- Treats such as biscuits or chocolates
Donations - financial
If you would like to make a financial donation online, please visit: https://www.justgiving.com/theabbeycentre
Thank you very much for all your donations given.
