Elvira Morrison

Director of Fundraising & Comms at Maudsley Charity

Elvi has worked in the charity sector for over 20 years and in leadership roles for the last 12. Her experience comes from a range of charities, big and small, and she has significant experience in strategic development, transformational change, and the establishment of fundraising functions in diverse settings and environments. Elvi is an 'expert generalist' rather than having one specialism and this has been key to her success, but she hasn't always thought of it in that way. It took investment in her personal development to get over the pangs of doubt so many of us face and that experience has made her very intentional about the type of leader she likes to be.

Being part of a diverse family and a charity strongly committed to DEI, Elvi is especially passionate about creating environments where diverse teams can thrive. Almost obsessive about personal development and self-belief, Elvi is proud to be supporting the curation of the Career Development and Leadership track of this year’s Fundraising Convention.
