Jemma has over 20 years’ experience in fundraising, working with small and medium-sized organisations across sectors including environmental conservation, youth advisory services, dementia support, and hospice care. Like many fundraisers in smaller organisations, her career has spanned the full breadth of income generation, from community and events, individual giving, and statutory contracts, to major giving and trusts and foundations.
Since 2015, Jemma has focused on international development and now serves as Head of Philanthropy at Tusk, a UK-based charity supporting and amplifying African-led conservation. Alongside her professional role, she is Treasurer of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising Central South Committee, where she helps to organise learning and networking events for local fundraisers.
