Joy Tootell

Head of Relationships and Partnerships Fundraising at N D C S

My passion and love for all things fundraising began during my time studying at Loughborough University. Since then I started my career in community fundraising, working my way through the ranks to hold senior positions at Diabetes UK, Help for Heroes and in my current role as Head of Relationship and Partnership Fundraising at The National Deaf Children’s Society. I wholeheartedly believe in Continuous Professional Development, walking the walk by completing my Certificate and Diploma in Fundraising, undertaking the Chartered Institute's Future Leaders Course and putting myself out of my comfort zone speaking at a variety of events across the country.

This is why I am so thrilled to be helping the create the programme for the Career Development & Leadership track for the 2nd year running. This is my fourth season on the Chartered Institue's Fundraising Convention board and I’m excited for the event as I know amazing things happen when fundraisers get together!
