Booking FAQs

If I book a place at Fundraising Convention, but later find out I am unable to attend, can someone take my place?

Yes.

The value of your booking will be transferred to the person taking your place. Please note, if a higher rate is applicable to the substitute attendee (for example due to member status), the difference will apply and will need to be paid prior to Friday 24 September 2021. The request to make changes to your booking should be made in writing. Please email IoFconvention@institute-of-fundraising.org.uk

What happens if I miss a live session or cannot make one or more of the days?

All live sessions will be recorded and made available as part of the on-demand programme post the event, so you won't miss a thing! The on-demand programme will be available through the event platform for three months post the event for you to access in your own time.

If I book a place at Fundraising Convention can I share my ticket with a colleague?

No.

Access to Fundraising Convention Online is given to the named person on the booking and via the email address used at the time of registration. One login per email address is allowed.

I am not an Individual Member of the Chartered Institute but my organisation is; do I qualify for a discount?

No, not for individual tickets.

Organisational Members of the Chartered Insitute of Fundraising can take advantage of  discounts on group 'bundle' bookings, but for individual tickets, only Individual Members will recieve a discounted rate.

I am not an Individual Member of the Chartered Institute but would like to become one; could I then qualify for a discount?

Yes.

You can purchase one years' membership with your ticket. You will recieve the Individual Membership discount to the ticket price and also get a 19% discount on your Membership plus the £25 joining fee waived.

Visit our website for more information on the benefits of becoming a member.

How late can I book?

Bookings can be made up until 12pm on Friday 24 September, or until places sell out, whichever is sooner. To avoid disappointment, we would advise you to book your place as early as possible.

What is the cancellation policy for bookings?

In line with the terms and conditions for all Chartered Institute training and events, no refunds or credits will be made for cancellations received after 26 August 2021. All cancellations must be received in writing by email to IoFconvention@institute-of-fundraising.org.uk

What is the booking fee?

The booking transaction fee is added by Eventbrite (ticketing company) to the face value of the ticket in order to process the card payment for your ticket purchase. This is charged at 6% of the ticket value.

The Chartered Institute also incur a fee for every ticket sold, which we do not pass on to you.
