Julius Wolff-Ingham

Assistant Secretary for Communications at The UK Salvation Army

Julius Wolff-Ingham is the Assistant Secretary for Communications at The UK Salvation Army, directing both the Fundraising Department and the Marketing Department with a responsibility for generating over £120 million from donations and legacies, growing income from £7 million when he started 27 years ago.

It’s a role Julius loves as it draws deeply on his management, strategic and creative skills.  It’s also a cause that is close to his heart, providing essential support to some of the most marginalised and excluded people in our communities.

Prior to The Salvation Army, Julius worked with leading marketing, advertising and communications agencies for over a decade mainly concentrating on campaigns for the charity sector.

Feet on the ground trusteeship is also important and Julius is an outgoing trustee of The Poppy Factory, a leading employability charity for wounded, injured and sick veterans, and also a trustee of Sinfonia Smith Square, the newly merged charity, bringing together Southbank Sinfonia orchestra and St John’s Smith Square performance venue.

Julius is and always has been passionate about standards in the sector and especially standards in how fundraising is executed and he is truly looking forward to judging these awards and celebrating outstanding campaigns and results.
