Gary Richardson

Chief Executive Officer of Countryside Learning

Gary has worked in the sector for almost 30 years, and for the last 20 as CEO of Countryside Learning.  There is no doubt in his mind that his career in the charity sector has been enabled by the support he’s received from the Chartered Institute of Fundraising when he first became a fundraiser a long time ago!

Gary has been a past Chairman of the North East regional group, a Member of the Professional Conduct committee and since 1999 have been part of the Fundraising Convention Volunteers group.  Gary says the final role has given him the greatest degree of pleasure seeing the quality and diversity of people who work in the sector.  Life, because of their work, is so much better for all of us.
