I have over 17 years' experience in the sector, and since becoming a consultant I’ve helped clients by conducting audits, supporting as an interim, mentoring staff, delivering training, and drafting fundraising strategies. I also enjoy helping clients with the recruitment for their next critical fundraising role.
I am not based in the UK, but I've also got lots of experience of supporting charities remotely. An example includes successfully managing a large team as the Head of Public Fundraising, which I did entirely remotely for over a year. During this time, I was able to deliver a range of appeals, and develop and test some new fundraising products.
My background is working for large international organisations including Amnesty International and VSO, and delivering against large multi-million pound targets. But I now have plenty of experience supporting small charities, start-ups and social enterprises. I've also advised a number of organisations as a board member.
