The most successful high value fundraisers do certain things differently, and through his books, podcast and award-winning courses, Rob Woods has spent 15 years studying and teaching on those techniques.

Standard Content

In this practical masterclass, Rob shares a range of effective strategies, with LOTS of examples, to help you take action, solve the challenges and grow your results. In particular this includes how to get more meetings with current and potential donors; and what to do in those conversations to deepen relationships and inspire generous gifts.

I used the techniques I learned from Rob to double the number of memberships I sign up every month. These fundraising strategies are really powerful.

Sarah Jane O'Neill, Philanthropy Director, Scouts, and formerly of Stonewall

Before going on What Really gets results, I hadn't booked any meetings with donors. Following the training - which was fantastic - I got on the phone and booked 10 meetings for the next two months. The meetings resulted in three Appeal pledges totalling £35,000 and two one-off gifts, worth £20,000...I absolutely recommend you go on his training.

Even as the current pandemic continues to wreak havoc on charities’ fundraising plans, when done right, major donor and trust fundraising will be crucial sources of income for many charities during this crisis.

Furthermore, improving your major donor fundraising skills now will serve you long after social distancing has finished and its possible to meet donors face to face again.

But, crucially, what should you do to maximise your chances of success?

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the award-winning trainer Rob Woods has interviewed more than a dozen successful high value fundraisers to find out how they have adapted their tactics to solve the new challenges.

In this specially-updated course, Rob has combined these cutting-edge, lock-down-busting approaches with the system he has always shared on What really gets results, the masterclass he has delivered for the Chartered Institute of Fundraising's Academy for hundreds of fundraisers across the last decade.

I used the techniques I learned from Rob to double the number of memberships I sign up every month. These fundraising strategies are really powerful.
