You will need to be passionate about fundraising and the role the Chartered Institute plays in leading, representing and championing the fundraising profession and community.
The Board has a responsibility to make sure that that the Trustees are both reflective of the fundraising community as a whole and have the rights skills and experiences to lead the Chartered Institute’s work.
On this occasion, we are particularly keen to recruit someone who is a practitioner from within a charity whose voluntary income is between £10 and £50 million.
We have embarked on a bold programme to increase the diversity of the fundraising profession so we are also keen to have applications from fundraisers who will add to the gender identity diversity of our current Board, currently 9 women and 2 men.
As a Chartered Institute Trustee, you will be guaranteed an exciting and rewarding experience at a particularly challenging time for both the fundraising community and for the Chartered Institute, within an ambitious and friendly organisation.
The role is non-remunerated however reasonable travel and out of pocket expenses will be paid.
