Craig Fordham is Director of Operations and Legacies at Macmillan Cancer Support, the UK’s largest cancer care charity. Having embarked upon a short-lived and unfulfilling career in the music industry, Craig initially joined Macmillan for six weeks, but having caught the fundraising bug, finds himself still there 23 years later, 15 of which were spent leading the Challenge Events Team.
In his current role he is responsible for both ensuring that Macmillan’s fundraising and marketing strategy is delivered to its maximum potential and driving legacies, our biggest income stream. In his spare time Craig is a sports-nut, with a particular passion for biathlon and cross-country skiing, although his enthusiasm far outweighs his abilities. He is a keen, but plodding, runner and is currently training for the Comrades Ultra Marathon.
