The 2025 awards ceremony will be held at Titanic, Belfast and hosted by Pamela Ballantine.
Award applications are based on the financial year 2024/25 only. Please view the terms & conditions (listed below) before completing your application.
Please note that in the interest of fairness, applicants can only apply for a maximum number of three awards per charity or organisation and no individual nominee can be entered into more than one category.
Application deadline is 17:00, Friday 30 April 2025.
Award Categories & Applications:
- The awards are open to fundraisers, volunteers and organisations across Northern Ireland and are free of charge to enter.
- Winners will be announced at the award ceremony on Thursday 19 June 2025 at Titanic, Belfast.
- Please note that in the interest of fairness, applicants can only apply for a maximum number of three awards per charity or organisation and no individual nominee can be entered into more than one category.
- Applicants agree to the best of their knowledge that all claims are accurate and true.
- Shortlisted applications may be asked to provide evidence of any claims made.
- Category sponsors are not permitted to enter the award in which they are sponsoring.
- Applicants agree that a representative will attend the award ceremony on Thursday 19 June 2025.
- The name used within an award application will be the name referenced at the event and on materials as appropriate.
- Only awards submitted through the website will be considered.
- No application will be accepted after the closing date.
- By applying, the applicants consent to non-confidential data being used at the award ceremony and in media releases.
- Feedback on individual entries cannot be given.
- All personal data will be processed in line with GDPR; and stored securely and for no longer than necessary.
Judging Panel
- When judging applications, the panel will rely solely on information contained in award applications.
- Judging panel's decisions are final.
- Judges are impartial and will base their decisions solely on the award entry.
- Judges will not allow their personal relationships or experiences of the business or applicant to influence their decision.
- Judges are required to declare any conflict of interests to the event organisers. The event organisers will deem if it is in fact a conflict of interest and exclude judges from judging the specific award if necessary.
- Judges and event organisers reserve the right to disqualify any entry that is considered to be non-compliant.
- Judges will be required to enter into a confidentiality agreement, which permits them from sharing confidential information, judging papers, entries and conversations with anyone outside of the judging panel and event organisers.
- Judges are required to delete all judging materials immediately after the judging period.
Tickets & cancellations:
- Cancellations and full refunds are permitted 30 days prior to the event. Refunds will not be given less than 30 days prior to the event.
- Ticket holders are permitted to send a substitute.

Guests:
- We will be taking social photos, photos of winners and audio recordings at the award ceremony. This information will be used on our website and in marketing and promotional materials after the event. Guests not wanting to be included in any recordings or photos must make themselves known to the Chartered Institute Northern Ireland Awards chair, Claire Hogarth on arrival at the event.
- Guests must comply with the rules and regulations governing the venue. If a guest brings any property to the venue, they do so at their own risk and the event organisers are not liable.
The Chartered Institute of Fundraising, Canopi, 82 Tanner Street, London SE1 3GN is the data controller.
Applications for the Northern Ireland Awards will be accessed by the judging panel which is made up of members of the Chartered Institute Northern Ireland committee members and third parties invited by the Chartered Institute Northern Ireland committee.
The judging panel will use the information you provide to process your application and come to agreement about the outcome.
Information from your application will also be used during the event and post event for promotional purposes and may appear on our website and social media posts.
Application forms will be kept until 21 July 2025 after which they will be securely destroyed.
