Incorporating; Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Hertfordshire, South Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire (inc. Peterborough) and Bedfordshire (inc. Luton).

Guidelines for submitting your nominations:
- You may enter under multiple categories.
- Please check the eligibility for each category before submitting your nomination.
- All fields within each category are mandatory, any blank fields will result in your submission not being put forward.
- Please note the Chartered Institute East Anglia group do not take any responsibility for cross checking entries against the Code of Fundraising Practice - we encourage all nominations to do this before submitting entries.
- If supporting documents are required, please click the button at the bottom of each awards category page and fill in the 'supporting documents' form before emailing to eastanglia@ciof.org.uk, adhering to the stipulated guidelines.
- All nominations and any supporting materials must be received by 5.00pm, on Friday 24 May 2024. No entries will be accepted after this date.
Guidelines for writing your nominations:
Your nomination should explain the context and background, and will include some or all of the following information:
- The background or story in respect of the nominee’s work for the charity
- The nature and extent of the fundraising undertaken
- The significance and difference this fundraising has made to the organisation or a particular service or community
- Ways in which this contribution has already been recognised by any other body or agency
- Where appropriate, how the fundraiser(s) demonstrate a standard of fundraising which others will aspire to
- Where appropriate, the length of time any volunteer has been involved with the organisation
- Where appropriate, ways in which the volunteer has been an inspiration to others
All winners will be announced and awards presented at the virtual Chartered Institute of Fundraising East Anglia Awards night on Wednesday 26 June, 2024 starting at 7.00PM.

The information you provide through this nomination form will only be used to manage and administer the Chartered Institute of Fundraising East Anglia Awards event. Your information will not be used for any other purposes. If the use or requirement for sharing, storage or disposal of your data changes we will contact you to inform you and seek your consent.
Sharing of nomination information:
We will never sell or share this information with any other organisation for commercial purposes. The information will only be shared with the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, the Chartered Institute of Fundraising East Anglia Committee and the awards independent judging panel.
The information you provide will be shared with the independent judging panel securely, via email, and the data will be password protected. We will ensure this information is deleted once the independent judging panel has made their decisions.
No contact information will be shared with the independent judging panel, the only information shared will be:
- Name of nominee
- Names of charity/charities supported
- Supporting statement
- Nomination summary
- plus (if received) additional supporting documentation sent by the nominee
If a nominee is under 16, we will need to confirm directly with their guardian that they have given permission for their story to be shared and that a suitable adult will be present when the young person is attending the online awards ceremony.
Parent/guardian contact information will be shared securely, via email, for all shortlisted nominees (under the age of 16) with the Chartered Institute of Fundraising's Head of Professional Conduct and Inclusion to confirm their consent, share safeguarding guidance and safeguarding lead contact details.
We will only share your nomination information for other reasons if we:
- Are required to do so by law
- Believe it is necessary to protect or defend our rights, property, personal safety of our people or visitors to our premises or websites.
Storing of nomination information:
Your nomination information is securely stored by the Chartered Institute of Fundraising in the backend infrastructure of our website. We will not store any information in hard copy or paper formats.
We will keep your nomination information only for:
- As long as we need it to effectively manage and administer the event
- And/or comply with the law
Once we no longer need this information, we will always dispose of it securely and within a maximum of 30 days of the event taking place.
